This site is only the beginning, so please check back often to see more updates and review a continually growing collection. James' work covers his world travels. He has a special interest in Africa and Asia with an emphasis on their people, culture, and wildlife. These he vividly renders in water color, oil, graphite, and bronze. He also has many Western American works, especially commercial commissions and gallery bronze sculpture. Formally trained as a representational artist, James works encompass a variety of styles. His brand of artistry may be described as Contemporary realism overlapping into Contemporary Classicism. Most of the works here have been commissioned or sold privately.
